2. Hosting (GitHub Pages)

This site is served statically via GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, GitHub processes technically necessary access data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering and securing the service).

The transfer to the US is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (GitHub is DPF-certified) and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The scope, retention, and handling of the logs are governed by GitHub's privacy statement (docs.github.com).

3. No CDN front, no third-party fonts

We self-host all fonts (Geist, Inter, JetBrains Mono) under /fonts/ on the same domain. No data is transferred to Google, jsdelivr, Cloudflare, or any third party. This follows the LG München I ruling of 20.01.2022 (Az. 3 O 17493/20). GitHub Pages serves the site directly; no additional CDN is interposed.

4. Email contact

When you email us (me@kirillorlov.pro), we retain your message and sender address to handle the inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering you). Email correspondence is deleted at most two years after the matter is closed, subject to statutory retention obligations.

5. No analytics, no trackers, no cookies

This site sets no cookies, loads no external scripts (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, no Cloudflare fronting, no GitHub embeds), and measures no traffic. A consent banner under TTDSG §25 is therefore not required.

6. RSS subscription

Our blog and changelog feeds are static XML files. We cannot tell who subscribes; no personal data is collected.

7. Your rights

You have the right, at any time, to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21) regarding your personal data held by us. Please contact me@kirillorlov.pro.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de).

8. Changes

We update this notice when technical or legal circumstances require it. The current version is always available at /privacy.
